Keeler-Tillamook Rebuild Project
Western Oregon

Turnstone completed a Biological Assessment for a proposed 59-mile transmission line rebuild project to evaluate potential impacts to ESA-listed plant and animal species and their critical habitat, including marbled murrelet and northern spotted owl, in the vicinity of the proposed project. Turnstone biologists selectively screened potential habitat through remote sensing with aerial photographs, habitat suitability mapping, recent data reviews, and field reconnaissance. Surveys for ESA-listed Threatened and Endangered wildlife and plan species were also conducted. The report includes analysis locations of sensitive and occupied habitat, and mitigation recommendations.
